The 2020 Mackinac Island season has had its shares of ups and downs, but with a little help from our neighbors we are happy to say that Threads of Mackinac is up and running and so excited to see the island full of life and people sharing their love for Mackinac Island.

Facebook Live Fudge Demonstrations
Every year during Mackinac Island’s Fudge Festival the shops pull out all the stops to show off their skills. Normally these sightings are reserved for in-person visitors, but this year some of the shops are broadening their audience. Beginning Friday, August 28 May’s Candy is going to be flipping fudge live on their Facebook page at 2 p.m. EST followed by a Q&A with 4th generation fudge maker Heather May.
May’s Fudge Festival Flavor Reveal
Exclusively for this year’s Fudge Festival May’s Candy is revealing their new 2020 Fudge Festival Flavor on Saturday, August 29 from their Facebook page. Like and share the post containing the revealed fudge flavor for a chance to win 1 ½ pounds of fudge. Three winners will be announced Sunday, August 30 at 5 p.m.
