Vacation Rentals

Everyone has their favorite place to stay on Mackinac Island. From the Grand Hotel to Mission Point Resort or Harbour View Inn — not to mention the countless charming Bed and Breakfasts in between. Choosing where you want to set your bags down is one of the biggest decisions you can make. But what if you’re looking for something more long-term?

That’s where Above Alford’s comes into play, one of Mackinac’s newest lodging options, perfect for guests looking for something more semi-permanent. Brought to you by the proprietors of Doud’s Market, these extended-stay condominiums offer luxury in the heart of downtown. As the name hints, the spaces are located off of Main Street above the former Alford’s Drug Store. Inside you’ll find contemporary finishes, gorgeous hardwood, and modern design touches like open shelving and subway tile backsplashes mixed with island-inspired rattan lampshades and clean, white shiplap. Take your breakfast on the balcony or gathered around the spacious kitchen island or long dining table. Choose from either a two-bedroom, two-bath condo or, the roomier four-bedroom featuring three bathrooms and two — yes two — balconies, one of which is located off the master bedroom.

Mastej Construction just completed the finishing touches on these beautiful island getaways, so act quick to book your spot for next summer. The two-bedroom condo starts at $300 per night, and the four-bedroom tops out at $750 per night. Pricing can vary depending on time of season, and how long you plan on staying. There is a 30-day stay minimum.
