No better way to burn off some of that sugar from fudge “sampling” during Mackinac Island’s Fudge Festival than a good old fashioned Cornhole tournament, held for the first this year at Mission Point Resort’s Great Lawn.
Don’t worry if it’s been awhile since your tossing arm picked up a bean bag, Mackinac Island’s first ever Cornhole tournament welcomes every level player from newbie to aficionado. Brought to you by Mackinac Island Tourism and Michigan Cornhole, one lucky team could walk away with $2,500.
There are two categories you can register under to toss some bags either socially or competitively from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday August 24. Each participant should come ready to play in teams of two, so don’t forget your partner and a positive attitude! Bags will be provided or you can choose to bring your own, must be regulation — no corn filled bags.
